Provided
-
Previous Projects
- Timber structures including vehicular bridges, golf
course structures, pedestrian walkways and bridges, dune
crossovers, shelters, gazebos and free span structures
are all cost effective, environmentally friendly and
designed and constructed by SunBelt Construction
Services.
-
Vehicular
Timber Bridges – Vehicular timber bridges have
proven to be a cost effective alternative with
better aesthetics “curb appeal” than concrete or
steel designs. The amount of time involved from
project conceptual thought to completed constructed
product is normally greatly reduced. Life span and
annual maintenance of these structures meets or
exceeds established Federal Highway Standards.
Although timber structures are located predominately
in rural settings, there are few structural design
limits for lengths or span widths.
-
Pedestrian Timber Bridges - This type of timber
structure use is identical to golf course designs,
but is found predominately in municipal parks and
recreational areas and zoological environments with
a wide variety of structure width and load bearing
capabilities.
-
Timber Boardwalks - This type of timber
structure use is identical to golf course designs,
but is found predominately in municipal parks and
recreational areas and zoological environments with
a wide variety of structure width and load bearing
capabilities.
-
Docks & Piers
-
Free Span Structures
- Free Span to
25’ – Current timber technology can provide
maximum single piece structure length of 25
linear feet with each end supported by a variety
of abutments ranging from timber to reinforced
concrete.
- Glue Laminated
– This type of timber structures were developed
to allow longer free spans that exceed 25 linear
feet.
