Free Span to 25’ - Current timber technology can provide maximum single piece structure length of 25 linear feet with each end supported by a variety of abutments ranging from timber to reinforced concrete.

Glue Laminated - This type of timber structures were developed to allow longer free spans that exceed 25 linear feet.

Charlotte County Parks; Oyster Creek, Timber Free Span Bridge

SunBelt Construction constructed a total of eight pedestrian boardwalks, fishing piers and free span bridge for Charlotte County Parks Department. The boardwalks and piers were built in highly environmentally sensitive areas which required construction to be “built from the top” with respect for the surroundings. Project built on time and within budget.
